(Baonghean.vn) - On December 13, Nghe An Department of Health organized a delegation to assess the commune that met the national criteria for health in 2014 in Nghia Binh commune (Nghia Dan district).

Assessment of communes meeting national criteria on health in Nghia Duc Efforts to implement national standards on commune health

Through the process of surveying and evaluating 10 sets of criteria for communes meeting national standards in the period of 2011 - 2020, the delegation highly appreciated the work of taking care of people's health that has received attention from the entire local political system; human resources are guaranteed, reasonably arranged, and have professional qualifications... Besides, Nghia Binh commune still has some limitations that need to be overcome in the coming time, such as: Implementing well the work of school sanitation, controlling and strengthening disease prevention; communicating health education to people; strengthening environmental sanitation work in the area; the list of drugs and medical equipment still has many limitations.

As a result, the delegation scored Nghia Binh commune 90/100 points, with the above score, Nghia Binh achieved the national health standard commune in 2014. Previously, the delegation also assessed Nghia Duc commune with 93 points, Nghia Dan town with 90 points, bringing the total number of 17/25 communes to meet the national health criteria and striving to reach 4 to 5 communes meeting the standard by the end of 2015.
