Assessment of communes meeting national health standards in Nghia Khanh (Nghia Dan)

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of June 23, the appraisal team for communes meeting the National Health Criteria, phase 1, 2015, at the provincial level, led by Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hong, Deputy Director of the Department of Health, worked in Nghia Khanh commune, Nghia Dan district.

Nghia Khanh is 25 km southwest of Nghia Dan district center, including 17 hamlets, more than 2,200 households, nearly 11 thousand people, the economy is mainly agricultural. In recent years, the Party Committee, government and people of Nghia Khanh commune have always paid attention to and attached importance to health care. In 2006, the commune was recognized as meeting national health standards. Promoting the achieved results, Nghia Khanh is determined to build and meet the national criteria for commune health by 2020.

Currently, in Nghia Khanh, there are no epidemics or food poisonings. The commune health station has 7 doctors and nurses, with a suitable human resource structure; 18 rooms with full functions and equipment, meeting the needs of regular medical examination and treatment for the people. After evaluating 10 criteria, in conclusion, comrade Nguyen Xuan Hong highly appreciated the efforts of the commune in taking care of people's health as well as investing in facilities and equipment for the medical station... The delegation scored Nghia Khanh commune 87/100 points, enough to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for recognition of the commune meeting National Health Standards in 2015.
