(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of July 14, 2014, the working delegation of the Provincial Farmers' Association led by Mr. Tran Van Huong, Permanent Vice President of the Association visited and presented gifts to officers and soldiers of the Dao Mat Mixed Battalion. Accompanying the delegation were representatives of the Provincial Military Command.

The delegation offered incense and flowers at the Memorial of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives to protect the Island.

At Mat Island, the delegation offered flowers and respectfully lit incense sticks to commemorate the officers and soldiers who heroically sacrificed their lives to protect the island.

With an important military strategic position, being the core force in carrying out the task of protecting the Socialist Fatherland, in recent times, officers and soldiers of the Mat Island Mixed Battalion have performed well in combat readiness work, protecting the airspace and sea; participating in preventing and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, contributing to building a solid people's position.
