Visit and give gifts to Dien Bien Phu veterans

(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of Dien Bien Phu victory, on the morning of May 6, 2014, the Military Command of Nghia Dan district organized a visit and presented gifts to two veteran comrades who participated in the Dien Bien Phu campaign and are currently in particularly difficult circumstances: Mr. Pham Dinh Le, 92 years old (former squad leader of Regiment 93 - Division 324), residing in Nghia Phu commune, Nghia Dan and Mr. Nguyen Dinh Ban, 82 years old (former squad deputy of Regiment 120 - Division 35), residing in Nghia Tho commune, Nghia Dan district, each gift worth 500,000 VND.

Nghia Dan District Military Command visited and presented gifts to Mr. Nguyen Dinh Ban's family, Nghia Tho commune, Nghia Dan.

Also on this occasion, the Youth Union of the District Military Command coordinated with local youth organizations to help the two families clean their houses.
