Visit and give gifts to families of traffic accident victims

(Baonghean.vn) - In response to the Day of Remembrance for Traffic Accident Victims, on the morning of November 10, the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee organized a working delegation to visit and encourage families affected by traffic accidents in Quynh Luu district.

The working delegation encouraged and gave gifts to Mr. Nguyen Huu Phu in hamlet 14, Quynh Chau commune, who suffered a traumatic brain injury in a traffic accident.

At the places visited, the delegation of the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee deeply shared the pain of loss of families whose relatives were traffic accident victims; hoping that the families would overcome the pain to overcome the immediate difficulties.

At the same time, it is recommended that local Party committees, authorities and organizations, through practical actions, actively provide material and spiritual support to help families of traffic accident victims ensure their lives.

Seven years ago, when he was just two years old, Tran Tai Anh in Hamlet 4, Tan Son Commune had a traffic accident that resulted in a traumatic brain injury and paralysis on one side of his body.

Mr. Tran Van Hoa, Tran Tai Anh's father, said that since the accident, he has lost the ability to speak and is paralyzed, so he depends on his parents for all his daily activities.

On this occasion, the delegation presented 5 families, each family a gift worth 2 million VND.

It is known that on this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee and the Traffic Safety Committees of districts and cities will form delegations to visit the families of traffic accident victims.

Along with that, strengthen propaganda activities to warn the whole society about disasters, causes and risks of traffic accidents; raise awareness and consciousness of the whole society in complying with laws and traffic safety order.
