Visit and give gifts to families of soldiers who had work accidents

(Baonghean.vn) - During the program of the Rally in response to the National Week on Labor Safety, Hygiene, and Fire Prevention in 2014 of the entire army held at Military Region 4, on March 17, 2014, Senior Lieutenant General Truong Quang Khanh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of National Defense led a working delegation of the Ministry of National Defense to visit and present gifts to the families of soldiers who had work-related accidents in Nghi Loc district, Nghe An province. Accompanying the delegation was Major General Tran Huu Tuat, Deputy Commander of Military Region 4.

The delegation visited and presented gifts to the family of Lieutenant Nguyen Van Quang, an employee of Workshop 467, Technical Department of Military Region 4, currently living in Nghi An commune, Nghi Loc district, Nghe An province. Comrade Quang suffered a work accident while performing his duties at Workshop 467 in 2007, with a disability rate of over 60%. Despite his poor health, difficult family circumstances, wife without a stable job, and 2 young children, Lieutenant Nguyen Van Quang always overcame difficulties to rise up in life, excellently completing his professional tasks. For many years, Lieutenant Nguyen Van Quang has been a Party member who has fulfilled his duties well, and was awarded the title of Advanced Soldier by Workshop 467.
