In 1996, Nghe An Newspaper staff and reporters took care of Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Tong from Thanh Chuong District for life. In recent times, through many practical activities, Nghe An Newspaper staff and reporters have regularly visited and encouraged her, given gifts, provided material support... which has contributed significantly to helping her stabilize her life and live happily and healthily. Currently, with the dedicated and thoughtful care of the staff of the Nghe An Center for the Care of Martyrs' Relatives, Mother Tong (now 96 years old) is still in good health and alert.
