SUFFER AND LOSE

When the final whistle blew, Coach Nhan Thien Nhan quietly got in his car and left, his face not too sad. Perhaps, losing has become so familiar to this team that losing again is not something that makes them too sad.

Indeed, HV.AG was too weak and even though they faced the team that played in the First Division last year, Than. QN, they could not resist their fate. Even when starting with the best players, HV.AG could not improve their image. The midfield could not control the ball, the two wings were continuously penetrated, the away team was too weak and whatever came came to them when they quickly conceded 2 goals in the first half.

In the second half, coach Nhan Thien Nhan made a series of changes in defense and attack but they could not change the situation. All they could do was create 2 dangerous situations after the shots of Hoang Max and Van Sang in the last 5 minutes of the match. Without individuals who could revive the situation, HV.AG just fell into a state of suffering and then sadly left the field with sighs because their strength was too weak compared to the opponent.

BREAK THE LOSING STREAM

With the return of four pillars Tuan Linh, Peter, Minh Tuan and Hai Huy, Than.QN was far superior to the opponent. Controlling the game and easily deploying diverse attacks from the middle to the two wings, Coach Dinh Cao Nghia's students created half a dozen dangerous opportunities in the first half.

After Xuan Ngoc's close-range shot failed to score, in the 32nd minute, captain Minh Tuan unleashed a beautiful long-range shot from 20 meters away, tearing the HV.AG net. With the opening goal, Than.QN showed more and more its danger as they played. In the 40th minute, midfielder Peter scored his second goal of the season with a powerful long-range shot, helping Than.QN lead 2-0.

Despite having the advantage in terms of score, Than.QN still kept attacking and in the second half, they continued to dominate the game. Uche, Xuan Ngoc, Hai Huy, Tuan Anh had no less than 5 situations where they could have scored, but due to bad luck, the goal still turned away from them.

However, with 2 goals scored in the first half and against a very weak opponent, Than.QN easily maintained the victory. With 3 points against HV.AG, Than.QN broke the previous 3-match losing streak. More importantly, coach Dinh Cao Nghia and his team returned to the Top 3.
