Roma beat Barca 3-0, come from behind to enter Champions League semi-finals
Roma made a miracle when they leveled the score 4-4 and entered the semi-finals according to the away goals rule.
Goals: Dzeko 6', De Rossi 58' penalty, Manolas 82'
Playing on Roma's field, Barca lacked concentration from the very first minutes. Taking advantage of the opportunity, the home team opened the score in the sixth minute with an open run by Edin Dzeko. From the moment Samuel Umtiti was indecisive in following his man, the Bosnian striker entered the penalty area and shot a one-on-one shot that defeated goalkeeper Ter Stegen.

Having conceded an early goal, Barca was under great psychological pressure in front of tens of thousands of Roma fans. Apart from Messi's inaccurate free kicks, the visitors could not organize any sharp attacks towards goalkeeper Alisson Becker's goal. In the back line, Barca's defense continued to play unsafely, often allowing Roma to hold the ball and shoot.
While the visitors were no longer in their best form, Roma were more excited thanks to the home fans. In the 29th minute, if the ball had not gone just wide of the goal after Patrick Schick's header, the score could have been 2-0. In the 37th and 38th minutes, Dzeko made two headers, forcing Ter Stegen to clear the ball and sending the ball wide of the goal.
Unable to escape the psychological pressure and regain control of the game, Barca paid the price with a second goal in the 58th minute. The away team's defense continued to make mistakes when Gerard Pique tripped Dzeko in a dispute in the penalty area. Taking advantage of the opportunity from the 11m mark, captain De Rossi shot hard to increase the score to 2-0.

Having conceded the second goal, Barca found themselves in a similar situation to PSG when they met them last season at the Nou Camp. The pressure was so great that the attack lacked ideas, while the defense became more passive under the pressure from Roma. Barca could only organize one more attack when Messi shot from 16m right at Alisson's position in the 74th minute.
Realising that the opportunity to reach the semi-finals was open before them, Roma continued to increase the pressure. The Italians could have scored a third goal earlier had Nainggolan's connecting kick, De Rossi's close-range header and El Shaarawy's close-range finish been more accurate.
Roma's efforts were not in vain, they found a miracle in the 82nd minute. The defensive error continued to punish Barca, when no defender was able to mark Manolas when he headed from a corner kick. The ball crossed into the goal, sealing a 3-0 victory for Roma.

A 3-0 win in the second leg was enough for Roma to level the score at 4-4 on aggregate. This was also the result the Italian team expected, as the away goals rule ensured a ticket to the semi-finals.
Meanwhile, Barca have been knocked out of the Champions League at the quarter-finals for the third year in a row. The previous two times, the Nou Camp team lost to Atletico and Juventus.
