Thanh Chuong: Launching Ceremony of "Youth Month"
(Baonghean.vn) - On February 26, at Nguyen Sy Sach High School, Thanh Chuong District Youth Union coordinated with the School Youth Union to organize the launching ceremony of "Youth Month" 2012 with the theme "Youth join hands to build new countryside and act for traffic safety and order".
The launching ceremony was attended by over 1,000 youth union members of Nguyen Sy Sach High School, union members of agencies, units, and communes and towns in the district.

With the motto "Each youth has one action, each youth union has one practical activity", Thanh Chuong District Youth Union has proposed 4 specific implementation contents in response to Youth Month: Youth action for traffic safety; Society cares for children's rights; Youth action for social security; Pride of Vietnamese Youth. In which, focusing on activities: Propagating Traffic Safety Law; broadcasting about Traffic Safety in schools, communes and towns; implementing the project "Mobilizing students to comply with traffic laws in the period 2010-2015" of Thanh Chuong District People's Committee; Implementing youth projects: "Section of road for youth self-management for traffic safety"; Simultaneously organizing "Green Sunday" on all Sundays during Youth Month at Youth Union bases throughout the district...
Immediately after the launching ceremony, the youth union members took action to carry out projects in response to the Youth Month: cleaning and clearing the school grounds, inter-village roads, and martyrs’ cemeteries; donating over 40 million VND to support the construction of 4 gratitude houses for former Youth Volunteers, and giving 10 gifts worth 3 million VND to poor students who have overcome difficulties.
