Thanh Chuong: giving savings books to poor families

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of January 3, Thanh Chuong Volunteer Club visited and gave a savings book to Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong, a family with especially difficult circumstances in block 10, Thanh Chuong town.

Ms. Hong’s husband, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Huong, just passed away at the age of 33 from bone marrow cancer, leaving behind a poor and indebted family. His two children are still young, and his parents are too old to walk.

Volunteer Club representative gives savings book to Nguyen Thi Hong's family

Faced with the pitiful situation of Ms. Hong's family, Thanh Chuong Charity Club launched a campaign to raise funds, support and give the family a savings book worth 15 million VND, to help ease the family's difficulties. Previously, the Club also gave more than 2 million VND in cash to Ms. Hong's family.
