The conference discussed and contributed ideas to the draft report summarizing the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement in schools in the 2015-2016 school year; the draft report summarizing the work of the Young Pioneers and the children's movement in the 2015-2016 school year; the draft Program of the Youth Union and the youth movement in schools in the 2016-2017 school year; the draft Program of the Young Pioneers and the children's movement in the 2016-2017 school year.
Discussions at the Conference focused on clarifying the shortcomings and limitations in the past school year; discussing targets and solutions to improve the quality of Youth Union - Pioneer work in schools in the following year; and sharing results, good practices, and new models in implementing the Youth Union - Pioneer work program and youth movements in the city.

On this occasion, the Central Council of Young Pioneers, the Provincial Youth Union, the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union, and the Vinh City Youth Union awarded collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the work of the Youth Union and Young Pioneers in the 2015-2016 school year.
