Establishment of Nghia Dan Town

(Baonghean) -On October 11, 2011, the Government issued Resolution 96/NQ-CP establishing Nghia Dan Town in Nghia Dan District, Nghe An Province.

Nghia Dan Town of Nghia Dan District was established on the basis of adjusting 455.7 hectares of natural area and 3,007 people of Nghia Binh Commune, 345.5 hectares of natural area and 1,763 people of Nghia Trung Commune, 51.4 hectares of natural area and 267 people of Nghia Hoi Commune. Thus, Nghia Dan Town has 852.6 hectares of natural area and more than 5,037 people.

Administrative boundaries of Nghia Dan Town: to the East borders Nghia Hoi commune; to the West borders Nghia Trung commune; to the South borders Nghia My commune, Thai Hoa town; to the North borders Nghia Binh commune, Nghia Dan district.
