27 year old man used gun to rob bank
Dung put on a raincoat, brought a gun to threaten the bank staff, fired at the glass door of the transaction room, but before he could take the money, he ran away.
On June 26, Bao Thang District Police (Lao Cai) announced that they had initiated a case and detained Vui Van Dung (27 years old, in Bat Xat District) to investigate the act of robbery.
A week ago, after being persuaded by the authorities, Dung surrendered and confessed his actions.

Dung confessed that he had the idea of attacking a bank to rob money. On the morning of June 13, he put on a helmet, raincoat, and gloves and rode a motorbike to a bank transaction office in Bao Thang district; threatened the staff and demanded money.
Seeing the large number of security guards at the bank transaction office, Dung ran out and got on his motorbike to escape. Before leaving, he fired a gun into the glass door of the transaction office.
In order to avoid detection, Dung repainted his motorbike. After 92 hours of verification, the police built a portrait of the robber and identified Dung as the suspect.
Police are investigating the gun Dung used.
