Provincial Police Youth with humanitarian blood donation festival
(Baonghean.vn) - Over the years, the Provincial Police Youth Union has become the core force in humanitarian blood donation work.
From 7:00 a.m. today, July 6, over 500 Youth Union members from 28 Youth Unions and the Youth Union of the Provincial Police, the Youth Union of Vinh City Police were present at the Provincial Police Hall to participate in the humanitarian blood donation festival. This is a traditional activity, continuously for many years, carried out by the Provincial Police Youth Union, exceeding the target set by the Provincial Humanitarian Blood Donation Campaign Committee, in which many members have donated blood for the second time or more.

To attract more and more young people to participate, propaganda work on the benefits of blood transfusion, the noble meaning of donating blood to save lives, etc. has been frequently mentioned in meetings and activities. Therefore, in recent years, the humanitarian blood donation movement has become a voluntary movement with the participation of many young officers and soldiers of the Provincial Police, with the number increasing every year.

Lieutenant Nguyen Minh Ngoc - Traffic Police Team of Vinh City Police said: participating in humanitarian blood donation is the responsibility of each individual towards the community.
The leaders were also present at the blood donation session to encourage the young union members.
Ms. Nguyen Thi An - Deputy Head of the Provincial Blood Donation Office, commented: This time, the number of Provincial Police Youth Union members participating increased compared to last year, and the number of blood units collected was also greater, with over 209 units of blood.
The movement has been widely participated by young people not only during Youth Month and Youth Year but also becomes an awareness that every drop of blood is for the community, so that this noble gesture is widely spread in the people's police force.
