Catholic youth contribute youth to build homeland
(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An currently has more than 30 thousand Catholic youths. In recent times, this force has played an important role in pioneering economic development, actively participating in social security activities, contributing to building an increasingly prosperous homeland.
Think differently, do differently in economic development
In the last days of the year, the working atmosphere at the composite door manufacturing facility of Mr. Phung Ba Thieu Tri (born in 1986) is more bustling and busy to complete orders for customers on time.
As a typical Catholic youth of Thu Thuy land, Cua Lo town, Mr. Phung Ba Thieu Tri is known as the person who has made many efforts in creating jobs for dozens of local workers.

Talking about his career, Mr. Tri said that after completing his military service in 2006, he spent a long time working in the mechanical field while working abroad in Korea. Returning to his hometown in 2015, with the accumulated capital in hand, he struggled a lot about how to use the capital effectively to develop his own economic direction.
Observing locally, he noticed that most economic models were mainly associated with the service, tourism, and seafood sectors. Meanwhile, the construction, building, and interior equipment supply sectors were still lacking compared to the needs of the people.
Therefore, he decided to invest in building a model of producing plastic doors and glass doors with advanced production lines directly transferred by foreign experts in the locality. Thanks to the methodical investment, the products from the facility have achieved high quality and are trusted by customers. At this time, he continued to expand the market and reaped more achievements in his work. Currently, the local youth force working at his facility has reached more than 30 regular workers, with an income of 10 to 15 million VND per month.

Working at the facility since 2019 as a welder, Mr. Le Huu Tinh (born in 1986) said that he has 3 children of school age, his wife is a freelancer so the income is unstable. Thanks to a stable salary and bonus of 15 million VND per month, his family has a stable source of income to cover living expenses and raise children to study.
Sharing the same joy, Mr. Truong Van Xuan (born in 1992) and his wife Ms. Nguyen Thi Ha (born in 1995) currently living in Block 3, Nghi Thuy Ward have been working together at Mr. Phung Ba Thieu Tri's production facility for over 5 years. Despite going through difficult times due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, they and other workers still have regular jobs. With an income of nearly 30 million VND per month for both of them, they have had a significant amount of savings to be able to worry about their life after marriage.
Actively participate in volunteer activities
Taking on the role of Vice Chairman of the Economic Development Youth Club of Thu Thuy Ward, Cua Lo Town, recently, Mr. Phung Ba Thieu Tri and his club members have had many activities to support disadvantaged families in the town with a total value of up to hundreds of millions of VND.
Just recently, the club donated 30 million VND in cash and a door system worth 15 million VND to the family of young soldier Nguyen Quoc Khanh (born in 2001) in block 4, Thu Thuy ward.
Receiving such meaningful help, Quoc Khanh said he was extremely moved. Because his parents unfortunately suffered from a serious illness and lost their ability to work while struggling to raise 3 children, life was extremely difficult. Therefore, the family's house had seriously deteriorated but for many years they had not had enough conditions to repair it. After receiving support from the Economic Development Youth Club of the ward and the local Party Committee and government, this Tet, his whole family had a spacious home to welcome the new year.

"That is the 7th house that Mr. Tri and members of the Economic Development Youth Club of the ward have supported from 2020 to present.
Promoting youth and enthusiasm, the local Catholic youth force has boldly built more than 10 effective economic models, allocating revenue to implement many charitable activities towards the social community with a total value of hundreds of millions of VND in the past term.
