The Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign is a key activity in the annual work program of the Youth Union and Association at all levels, becoming a widespread, vibrant and attractive movement for young people; a lively practical environment and a large school for each young person to have the opportunity to practice, experience, contribute and mature.

The volunteer movement brings to society a beautiful, humane image of today's youth, a class of young people responsible for society and the community.

July is the peak month for implementing activities, aiming to promote the spirit of volunteerism of young people in implementing the socio-economic development goals of the province, contributing to ensuring social security, improving the material and spiritual life of people in especially difficult areas and ethnic minority areas.

This year, the Provincial Youth Union chose Luc Da commune, Con Cuong district as the provincial-level pilot unit and promoted on-site volunteer teams from all localities.

More than 200 young volunteers from universities and colleges in the province, representing 45 provincial youth volunteer teams, came to report to Uncle Ho and held a departure ceremony to participate in the peak activities of the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign from July 5-17.

The young volunteers will bring their youth, enthusiasm and determination to carry out meaningful youth projects and tasks such as: Participating in building new rural areas; teaching summer culture; organizing mobile propaganda; training in transferring science and technology; providing free medical examinations and medicine, etc., contributing to effectively implementing the goals of economic development, hunger eradication and poverty reduction in localities.
