Vinh City suspends 3 illegal pharmaceutical businesses

(Baonghean.vn) - On June 9, 2015, the Vinh City interdisciplinary medical and pharmaceutical inspection team inspected drug businesses and private medical practices.

1 of 3 facilities were suspended.

Through inspections at a number of private medical and pharmaceutical establishments, the team discovered three Western medicine establishments that did not have a practice certificate, were not licensed by the Department of Health, did not have a business license, and the pharmacy owner was absent. The Vinh City private medical and pharmaceutical inspection team made a record and requested the closure of Luong Thang pharmacy at 134B, Nguyen Thiep street; Nguyen Ngoc Hoa pharmacy at 280 Tran Phu street and the pharmacy at 309 Le Duan street, located in Trung Do ward. On the same day, the team inspected, reminded and punished a number of private medical and pharmaceutical establishments that did not comply with regulations such as: selling drugs without a doctor's prescription; posting incomplete prices in drug trading; retailing drugs that did not meet the preservation requirements stated on the drug label...
