Vinh City: Estimated industrial and handicraft production value reaches 4,060 billion VND
(Baonghean) - In the first 6 months of the year, the value of industrial and handicraft production in Vinh City is estimated at 4,060 billion VND, reaching 49.2% of the plan, up 7.1% over the same period. In particular, some industrial and handicraft products have high growth rates such as: cakes, jams, candies, bro-cement roofing sheets, cardboard, sedge mats, ready-made clothes, granite bricks, animal feed, plywood, NPK fertilizer...
To achieve the above results, right from the beginning of the year, Vinh City has focused on measures to remove difficulties for production and business, support the market, resolve bad debts and inventories; create favorable conditions for economic sectors to develop, grant business licenses to 418 individual households and 392 enterprises; consolidate, organize, and innovate cooperatives in the period of 2012-2015 and complete procedures to dissolve a number of ineffective cooperatives such as: Tien Phong, Xuan Thai and Binh Vinh Cooperatives.
