(Baonghean.vn) - On the night of March 31, in response to Earth Hour 2012, all agencies, businesses, and households turned off their lights from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on March 31 to raise awareness of energy saving and climate change prevention... Vinh City turned off its lights for 1 hour.
On the night of March 31, in Vinh City, 6 parade groups from many directions, all gathered at the square named after Uncle Ho. The elderly, the young, all carried a small candle in their hands when the city suddenly turned off the electricity. At Ho Chi Minh Square, the lights stopped for the first time, leaving only small lights as guards to watch over Uncle Ho's sleep. Simultaneously, the city was plunged into true night. Only the car lights remained. Although it was only for 1 hour, it contained a lot of meaning, just like the message that was given "You and I, let's act together".
