Vinh City will enforce land clearance for Vinh Sub-urban project

(Baonghean.vn) - That is the direction of comrade Vo Viet Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of Vinh City Party Committee at the meeting of the Steering Committee for compensation, support and site clearance of Vinh City held on the afternoon of January 11, 2017.

The Vinh Urban Development Sub-project has a total investment of nearly 153 million USD funded by the World Bank. Recently, the Steering Committee for compensation, support and site clearance has focused on promoting propaganda and mobilizing people to hand over the site to implement construction packages under the Vinh Urban Development Sub-project.

Up to now, land clearance has been basically completed in Hung Dong commune, part of the construction package of 72m Hung Tay - Vinh road; Quang Trung and Doi Cung wards, part of the upgrading and renovation package of Vinh ancient citadel moat.

In the remaining areas such as Cua Nam, Quan Bau, Nghi Duc, Nghi An, Hung Loc, there are still problems.

At the meeting, after listening to the opinions of the Steering Committee members, the City Party Secretary requested that units and localities be more determined in site clearance work and speed up the project progress. At the same time, prepare measures to protect construction and organize enforcement against households that do not comply in the coming time.
