Vinh City: Training on prevention of Mers - CoV infection

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of June 17, 2015, Vinh City Medical Center organized a training course on prevention of Mers-CoV infection. 80 trainees attended, including medical center staff, station heads, and epidemic prevention specialists from 25 medical stations in the area.

At the training session, trainees were equipped with basic knowledge such as: Symptoms of Mers-CoV; Instructions on monitoring and measures to prevent Mers-CoV. Simultaneously, hypothetical situations were implemented such as: when no cases have been recorded in Vietnam; a confirmed case has entered Vietnam and the situation of the epidemic spreading in the community.

On this occasion, students were also instructed on how to monitor and prevent dengue fever.
