Vinh City deploys tasks for the 2015-2016 school year

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 22, Vinh City People's Committee held a conference to summarize the 2014-2015 school year and deploy tasks for the 2015-2016 school year.

Last school year, Vinh city education continued to develop strongly in both scale and quality at all levels. It is the leading unit of the province in both spearhead education and mass education. Preschool level increased by 4 schools compared to the previous school year, the rate of kindergarten children attending class reached 91.4%, the rate of stunted malnourished children was 4%, down 3% compared to the beginning of the year.

The entrance exam for grade 10 of Vinh city's specialized high schools led the whole province. With 245 students admitted to Phan Boi Chau specialized high school. 499 students admitted to Vinh University specialized high school. For high school level, there were 195 provincial excellent students, 53 national excellent students. The high school graduation rate reached 99%.

In the 2015-2016 school year, Vinh City is determined to maintain the title of “Excellent Advanced Unit” of the Nghe An education and training sector. Strengthen propaganda, education, training to improve the professional qualifications, skills, professional skills, sense of responsibility, and professional ethics of teachers and educational management staff.

On this occasion, the principals of Le Loi Primary School, Hung Hoa Kindergarten and 4 individuals received certificates of merit from the Prime Minister. 6 provincial emulation fighters, 26 groups and individuals were awarded certificates of merit by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. Hung Dung Secondary School was awarded the emulation flag of an excellent unit by the Provincial People's Committee.
