On May 10, 2012, Nghe An Electronic Newspaper reported on the situation of Nam Non River water running out, causing isolation and separation of communes upstream of the reservoir area. People cannot travel because this is the only waterway to communes upstream of Nam Non River such as Luan Mai (Tuong Duong) and Bac Ly, My Ly (Ky Son)…. This situation greatly affects the lives of people in the Ban Ve hydroelectric reservoir area.

After receiving the information through Nghe An Newspaper, Nghe An Department of Transport immediately sent a working delegation led by Mr. Phan Huy Chuong - Deputy Chief Inspector of Nghe An Department of Transport, along with the captains and deputy captains of the Inspection Team to Tuong Duong to check the information reported in the newspaper.

At 5:00 a.m. this morning, May 11, the working group of the Nghe An Department of Transport arrived in Tuong Duong district. The group will coordinate with the district to inspect the information reported by Nghe An newspaper, to grasp the current situation and advise the relevant agencies on solutions to stabilize the lives and travel of people in the area.

Nghe An Newspaper will continue to inform about this situation after receiving the inspection results of the working group of the Nghe An Department of Transport and Tuong Duong district.
