Vinh City Party Committee celebrates 65th anniversary of Party Inspection sector

(Baonghean.vn) – On the morning of October 15, Vinh City Party Committee organized a meeting to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the Party Inspection sector (October 16, 1948 – October 16, 2013).

Attending the event were comrades in the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, the Party building committees of the City Party Committee and retired leaders of the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee of different periods in the area.

Inheriting the glorious tradition of the past 65 years, along with the formation and development of the inspection sector at all levels, the inspection and supervision work of the Vinh City Party Committee has continuously grown. The team of officials doing the inspection work of the City ensures the quantity and quality to meet the requirements of new tasks. Up to now, the entire City Party Committee has 48 subordinate Party Committees, all of which have Inspection Committees, and 53 grassroots Party cells have officials doing inspection work. Every year, the inspection committees at all levels have performed their tasks well according to Article 32 and advised the Party Committees to perform the inspection and supervision tasks according to Article 30 of the Party Charter.

Through inspection and supervision work, the Party organization has promoted its strengths, overcome shortcomings and weaknesses, and discovered advanced models to replicate throughout the city. At the same time, seriously disciplined Party organizations and Party members who violated the law. Focusing on areas prone to violations such as land, budget finance and basic construction work. Detecting and proposing to recover billions of dong for the State, proposing to amend and supplement many policies under its authority. Actively contributing to the work of preventing corruption, waste and negativity, improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization.

In recognition of the achievements, over the years, the Vinh City Inspection Department has been awarded by all levels for its outstanding achievements in inspection and supervision work. On this occasion, the Central Inspection Committee awarded a certificate of merit to one individual with 25 years of working experience in the inspection department, and two other individuals were awarded commemorative medals for their contributions to the Party's inspection career.
