Most wards and communes have done a good job of propaganda and mobilization, so many households adjacent to the streets voluntarily dismantled illegal constructions and returned the land to the traffic corridor. Many main streets have been cleared well, such as: Ho Tung Mau, Le Hong Phong, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Le Mao, Le Nin, Nguyen Trai, Dinh Cong Trang, Le Loi, etc. However, the implementation in some wards and communes has not been drastic, leading to low efficiency.
Currently, the situation of trading on the sidewalks in some streets continues. To ensure traffic safety and order, environmental sanitation in the area, Comrade Pham Anh Tuan - Secretary of Vinh City Party Committee directed to continue focusing on solving the problem of re-encroachment of traffic safety corridors, dismantling illegally erected tents, eliminating car washes, food and beverage services, and goods trading that encroach on the sidewalks.
