"Military Semester" training ground
(Baonghean.vn) -Up to now, the "Military Semester" of students from all over the country at Regiment 764 - Provincial Military Command has passed 2/3 of the time. 108 "young soldiers" selected from 20 districts, towns, and Vinh City have participated in the training course with many useful contents.
With the dedicated guidance and training of the officers and soldiers of Regiment 764, the students gradually became familiar with "military life". At 5am, they woke up, neatly folded their blankets, put on their military uniforms, and marched out to the training ground in neat rows. At 2pm, the teams participated in training according to the "timetable".
After more than a week, the “soldiers” of the “Military Semester” have become accustomed to collective activities, skillfully folding blankets and curtains into squares, and walking in line. They are especially excited about the training hours on disassembling and assembling AK guns and the “rolling and crawling” skills; when the “commander” asks them to practice the movements, everyone raises their hands to volunteer…
Taking advantage of the break, the students wrote letters to their families and reported on their training, which is also one of the mandatory "training" contents that the Provincial Youth Union and Regiment 764 agreed to include in the "Military Semester". In addition, the course program also organized many meaningful activities for the students such as: gratitude activities, sharing with the community, protecting the environment, participating in the journey to Ngu Island, to arouse the love of the sea and islands, the responsibility of citizens towards the sea and islands of their homeland. The students also participated in very interesting cultural and artistic exchange activities.
