Change of leaders at 4 companies with huge salaries

On November 7, Ho Chi Minh City leaders decided to replace 8 leaders at 4 public utility companies in Ho Chi Minh City after salary-related violations at these enterprises.

Specifically, at the Urban Drainage Company, Ms. Pham Quang Minh Thuy, Deputy Head of Project Management Department of the City People's Committee Office, was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Board of Members, replacing Mr. Nguyen Trong Luyen.

Mr. Nguyen Quoc Thai, Director of Gia Dinh Water Supply Joint Stock Company under Saigon Water Corporation, was appointed as a member of the Board of Members and Director of the company, replacing Mr. Le Thanh Son.

At the Public Lighting Company, Mr. Pham Hung Ut, member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tan Phu District, was appointed as Chairman of the Board of Members, replacing Mr. Tran Trong Hue.

Mr. Huynh Tri Dung, Party Committee member of the Corporation, Head of Business Department of Ho Chi Minh City Power Corporation was appointed as Member of the Board of Members, Director of the company, replacing Mr. Tran Minh Hung.

At Saigon Traffic Construction Company, Mr. Tran Minh Khiem, member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Tan District holds the position of Chairman of the Board of Members, replacing Mr. Nguyen Nhat Tan.

Appoint Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tho, Deputy Director of Urban Traffic Management Area No. 3 (Department of Transport of the City) to hold the position of member of the Board of Members and director of the company, replacing Mr. Pham Van Vinh.

Finally, at the Green Park Company, Mr. Truong Dang Hung, member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Go Vap District, holds the position of Chairman of the Board of Members, replacing Mr. Pham Van Hieu.

Mr. Pham Thiet Hoa, Director of the Agricultural Consulting and Support Center of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of the City, was appointed to the position of member of the Board of Members and Director, replacing Mr. Tran Thien Ha.

As VietNamNet reported, the leaders and key officials of the four public utility companies in Ho Chi Minh City have received unusually high salaries, dozens of times higher than that of their employees, with some leaders receiving salaries of 2.2 - 2.6 billion VND/year. The lowest paid person, the chief accountant, also receives a salary of 700 - nearly 900 million VND/year.
