Coach Park lost a series of good players; Coach still doesn't know what Mr. Duc will decide about the future
(Baonghean.vn) - Mr. Lee Tae-hoon does not know what the HAGL chairman has decided about his future, although he was previously entrusted with helping the team stay in the league; Coach Park Hang Seo will not be able to have the services of Cong Phuong, Van Lam, Van Hau, Quang Hai, Duy Manh, Duc Huy... in the upcoming training session.
HAGL at risk of relegation
Losing to the home team Saigon FC with a score of 1-3, HAGL faces the risk of relegation when V.League has 3 more rounds to end. This has put the coaching chair of Mr. Lee Tae-hoon in a critical situation.
The Korean coach shared at the press conference: "The club trusts me, the players support me to the fullest until the end of the season. But now I don't know what the "boss" (Chairman Doan Nguyen Duc) will decide."

HAGL has fired two coaches in the decisive stages of promotion and relegation, so the future of the former Cambodian coach is a question mark. Previously, French coaches Guillaume Graechen and Nguyen Quoc Tuan both resigned.
Saigon FC is not a strong team, but they play very disciplined. That is why the away team's plans are at a standstill. Luong Xuan Truong plays poorly, rarely making decisive passes to his teammates.
The score was opened early in the 23rd minute for the Thong Nhat Stadium team, Hong Duy equalized in the 47th minute. Saigon FC continued to score thanks to Gustavo Santos and the final goal in the 84th minute thanks to captain Nguyen Quoc Long from the penalty spot.
"We tried our best but the result was not as expected. It was raining, slippery and HAGL players were at a disadvantage without foreign players. Besides, the players' ball control habits have not changed as I wanted," said the coach.
He said: "HAGL's habit of controlling the ball has been formed for a long time, while in football we need flexibility. Sometimes we have to play long balls, depending on the situation, change the direction of attack, working hours are not flexible but the players are trying hard".
This result puts HAGL at risk of being surpassed by Thanh Hoa if coach Mai Xuan Hop's team wins against Quang Ninh on September 15. Mr. Lee Tae-hoon's team is only one point ahead of their direct opponent but has played one more match.
The team at the bottom of the table, Khanh Hoa, had a valuable draw at Hai Phong Stadium. Khanh Hoa has shortened the gap with HAGL to 5 points with 3 more rounds to go.

The player from Thai Binh has not been granted a work visa, so he is delayed in going to the Netherlands to join Heerenveen. The Hanoi Club's leadership said he is waiting to apply for a work visa according to regulations.
According to the plan, Van Hau had a meeting with the Dutch Embassy on September 9, but it was postponed by one day. After that, he had to wait 3-5 days to get his visa in hand and travel to the Netherlands. This means Van Hau missed the opportunity to participate in the match against Ajax.
On the evening of September 14, Heerenveen will visit Ajax Amsterdam in round 6 of the Dutch National Championship. This is a difficult match for Van Hau's new team. Ajax is currently ranked 2nd in the rankings with 10 points, 1 point behind the leading team Vitesse but has played one less match. Heerenveen has 6 points after 5 rounds and is ranked 9th.
Vietnam team prepares to gather
Taking advantage of the break between rounds 24 and 25 of V.League 2019, the Vietnamese team will have a week-long gathering in Hanoi, from September 23 to 30. This is considered an important preparation opportunity because based on the previous match schedule, the Vietnamese team only had 3 days to prepare for the match against Malaysia (October 10) before moving to Indonesia (October 15).
VFF is also trying to create conditions for Vietnam to meet a club in V.League during the tournament's break. After September 30, the players will return to their clubs to prepare for round 25 of V.League on October 6. On October 7, they will return to the Vietnam team.
However, it should be added that Coach Park Hang Seo will find it difficult to have the services of the three players playing abroad: Cong Phuong (Sint-Truidense/Belgium), Van Lam (Muangthong United/Thailand) and Van Hau (SC Heerenveen/Netherlands) because their home clubs are still playing during this time.

Because they will have to play two legs of the inter-zone final (equivalent to the level of a semi-final) at AFC Cup 2019 with April 25 Club of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea on September 25 (home) and October 2 (away).
