Members of the Vietnam National Team will have RT-PCR tests on the first and sixth days at the centralized quarantine facility and on the 13th day at their place of residence.

During the training and competition period for the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers in the UAE, the Vietnam National Team strictly followed the host country's regulations on epidemic prevention and control. The entire team also maintained RT-PCR testing at a frequency of 3 days/time, from the time they arrived at Dubai Airport (UAE) until they returned home. All tests were negative.

In addition, the team also operates according to the “bubble” principle established by AFC. With this principle, all team activities are completely closed, only allowed to move from the hotel to the training ground, competition venue and vice versa. Especially, there is no contact with people outside the “bubble”. In addition, the local Organizing Committee also arranged two large buses to serve the team's travel, to keep a safe distance for the players. These two buses are used exclusively for the Vietnam National Team and are not shared with other teams.
