Coach Park Hang-seo and his students arrived at the airport at 7am, after about an hour and a half of traveling from the Aston Sentul Lake Hotel in Bogor to Jakarta.

Having to wake up at 4am to check out and go to the airport, many players were tired. While chatting, the Korean coach shared some honey drinks with his students.

On the trip were many Vietnamese fans - who flew from their home country to Indonesia to cheer for the team.

While waiting to do the procedures, Coach Park Hang-seo and his students interacted with the fans.

Quang Hai is one of Vietnam's players who has played the most in this year's tournament. He also scored the first goal for the team at the Asiad, in the match against Pakistan.

...goalkeeper Bui Tien Dung continues to be the pillars of the team in this year's tournament. Thanks to their contribution, Vietnam is the only team that has not conceded a goal until the semi-finals.

Despite losing to South Korea in the semi-finals and the UAE in the bronze medal match, reaching the final four teams is still an unprecedented feat for Vietnamese football since re-integration.

Assistant coach Lee Young-jin gave Cong Phuong a book on technical training before parting ways. Mr. Lee is considered the right-hand man of coach Park Hang-seo, in charge of developing tactical plans as well as training skills for the players.

The team will board the flight at 9am, and is expected to land at Noi Bai airport at 1:30pm.

The team will participate in the program “Proud of Vietnam!” to honor athletes with high achievements at Asiad 2018, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on September 2 at My Dinh National Stadium (Hanoi).
