(Baonghean.vn) - After a day of intense and fierce competition, this afternoon (November 2), the Nghe An Newspaper Open Badminton Tournament 2012 to celebrate the 51st anniversary of the first issue (November 10, 1961-2012) with sponsorship from AIA Life Insurance Company (Vietnam) entered the semi-finals and finals.

After the morning qualifying matches between 9 teams with 21 matches, 8 teams continued to compete in the semi-finals including the People's Mobilization Committee, the Inspection Committee, the Organizing Committee (Provincial Party Committee), Nghe An Newspaper Printing House and Nghe An Newspaper. In the end, after 27 matches,The Organizing Committee awarded 3 first prizes to the male and female pairs of the Provincial Party Committee Office, the male pairs of Nghe An Newspaper and the male pairs of the Provincial Party Committee Organizing Committee; 3 second prizes to the male and female pairs of the Nghe An Newspaper Printing House, the male pairs of the Provincial Party Committee Inspection Committee and the male pairs of Nghe An Newspaper. In addition, 6 teams won third prizes, 5 teams won consolation prizes and style prizes.

The teams compete in the semi-finals.
