Before the live preliminary round, former contestants of The Voice 2 seasons shared interesting stories about their "destiny day" with The Voice and the secret to overcoming the psychological obstacles when competing for a ticket to the Blind Audition round with thousands of people.
Recalling the second season of the show, singer Duong Hoang Yen confided: “Before entering the exam room to prepare for my turn, I was very nervous, my heart was pounding because there were so many contestants and seeing the judges made me nervous. But then I thought, if I kept shaking like this, I wouldn't be able to sing and because I had dared to compete, I had to give it my all, so I tried to calm down, stabilize my mood to have the best performance.”

As for Bui Anh Tuan, the 2012 The Voice Preliminary Audition was an extremely memorable day: “Although I was familiar with competitions, when I participated in The Voice audition, I was still extremely nervous. At that time, the number of contestants was very large, so I was also very worried. In order to perform well in front of the judges, I chose the piece of music that I liked the most and I only had a few seconds to remind myself to calm down before going on stage.”
Sharing the secret to making an impression in the first meeting with the judges, singer Cat Tuong said: “When choosing a song, you have to be true to your music and your personality. You have to know clearly what style suits you, don’t try to be someone else or try on an inappropriate “shirt”. Sing a song that you can get lost in and make others feel lost with you to create your own appeal. Sing with your instinct and the freedom you have.”

As for the champion of The Voice 2013, the Preliminary day is the day that opens up the opportunity to assert oneself and win the title. Vu Thao My said: "My thinks the first thing needed when going to the preliminary round is confidence. If you have confidence in yourself, you will be able to perform the song in the best way possible. I think when choosing a song to compete, contestants should aim for songs that are civilized and different."
The Voice 2015 is entering the first stages of its third season with many new promises. The competition is the cradle of many famous singers in the current music market and will continue its “mission” of finding good and impressive voices for Vietnamese music in the future.
