16 more Covid-19 patients recovered, Vietnam has cured 144 cases

On April 10, 16 Covid-19 patients were announced to have recovered, bringing the total number of cured cases in Vietnam to 144/255. Thus, the number of cured cases accounted for 56.4% of the total number of cases in our country.

* At the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases

9 patients were announced to be cured including: Patient 26; Patient 86; Patient 94; Patient 148; Patient 194; Patient 202, Patient 205; Patient 237; Patient 249.

1. Patient 26: Female, 50 years old, British nationality.

- Admitted to hospital on March 8, 2020

- Testing: The test results were negative 4 times on April 2; April 3; April 5; April 7, 2020.

- Present: Patient is awake, no fever, no cough, no difficulty breathing, regular heartbeat.

2. Patient 86: Female, 54 years old, living in Phuong Mai, Dong Da, Hanoi.

- Admitted to hospital on March 20, 2020.

- Testing: Test results were negative 4 times on March 25; March 26; March 29; April 6, 2020.

- Present: Patient is awake, no cough, no difficulty breathing, vital signs are stable.

3. Patient 94: Female, 64 years old, in Ngo Quyen, Bac Giang city.

- Test: The test results were negative 3 times on April 1, April 4, and April 7, 2020.

- Present: Patient is alert, responsive, no fever, no cough, vital signs are stable.

4. Patient 148: Male, 58 years old, French nationality.

- Test: Test results were negative twice on April 3 and April 6, 2020.

- Present: Patient is awake, responsive, no cough, no difficulty breathing.

5. Patient 194: Female, 42 years old, living in Phuong Mai, Dong Da, Hanoi, is a canteen employee at Bach Mai Hospital.

- Admitted to hospital on March 30, 2020.

- Test: The test results were negative 3 times on April 2, April 5, and April 8, 2020.

- Present: Patient is conscious, responsive, no fever, no cough, no difficulty breathing.

6. Patient 202: Female, 57 years old, living in Hung Tien, My Duc, Hanoi, is a canteen employee at Bach Mai Hospital.

- Admitted to hospital on March 29, 2020.

- Test: The test results were negative 3 times on April 1, April 4, and April 7, 2020.

- Present: Patient is alert, responsive, no fever, no cough, no difficulty breathing, vital signs are stable.

7. Patient 205: Male, 37 years old, in Yen Tho, Yen Dinh, Thanh Hoa, is a canteen employee at Bach Mai Hospital.

- Admitted to hospital on March 31, 2020.

- Test: The test results were negative 3 times on March 31, April 3, and April 6, 2020.

- Present: Patient is awake, no cough, no difficulty breathing, vital signs are stable.

8. BN237: Male, 64 years old, Swedish nationality.

- Admitted to hospital on April 3, 2020.

- Test: Test results were negative twice on April 3 and April 6, 2020.

- Present: Patient is awake, no fever, no cough, no chest tightness, no difficulty breathing.

9. Patient 249: Male, 55 years old, in Lien Thanh, Yen Thanh, Nghe An.

- Admitted to hospital on March 23, 2020.

- Test: The test results were negative 3 times on April 2, April 3, and April 6, 2020.

- Present: Patient is awake, responsive, no cough, no fever.

* At Bac Ninh General Hospital, 01 patient was announced to be cured.

Specifically: Patient 74 (male patient, 23 years old, Vietnamese nationality, admitted to hospital on March 18, 2020). During the treatment here, the patient was tested and had negative test results for SARS-CoV-2 the first time on April 1, 2020; the second time on April 5, 2020 and the third time on April 8, 2020, meeting the conditions to be declared cured.

* At Ho Chi Minh City Children's Hospital, 01 patient was announced to be cured.

Specifically: Patient 204 (male patient, 10 years old, Vietnamese nationality, hospitalized on March 18, 2020). During the treatment here, the patient was tested and after 3 tests, the patient had negative test results for SARS-CoV-2, meeting the conditions to be declared cured.

* At Da Nang Hospital, 01 patient was announced to be cured.

Specifically: Patient 135 (female patient, 27 years old, Vietnamese nationality, hospitalized on March 25, 2020), during treatment, the patient was tested and after 3 tests, the patient had negative test results for SARS-CoV-2, meeting the conditions to be declared cured.

* At Binh Thuan General Hospital, 2 patients were announced to be cured.

Specifically: Patient 36 (female patient, 64 years old, Vietnamese nationality) and Patient 44 (male patient, 11 years old, Vietnamese nationality). Both of these patients were admitted to the hospital on March 11, 2020. During the treatment, the patients were tested and after 3 tests, the patients all tested negative for SARS-CoV-2, meeting the conditions to be declared cured.

* At Cu Chi Field Hospital, 2 patients were announced to be cured.

Specifically: Patient 157 (female patient, 31 years old, British nationality, admitted to the hospital on March 26, 2020) and Patient 171 (female patient, 19 years old, Vietnamese nationality, admitted to the hospital on March 28, 2020). All patients tested negative for SARS-CoV-2 after 3 tests, are currently in stable health, no cough, no fever, and meet the conditions to be declared cured.

All of the above cases will continue to be isolated and monitored for their health for the next 14 days.
