Two more victims transferred to Hanoi for treatment

Ms. Tran Thi Dung added: “This morning, the hospital conducted a general examination of 16 patients who were being treated at the hospital in the scaffolding collapse. After the examination, a consultation was held and it was decided to transfer two patients, Nguyen Thai Duc (30 years old, residing in Ky Trung commune, Ky Anh district, Ha Tinh) and Nguyen Van Quy (22 years old, residing in Bo Trach district, Quang Binh province) with multiple injuries, traumatic brain injury, and shoulder blade fracture, who were being treated at the Trauma Department, to Viet Duc Hospital at 1:00 p.m. on March 30 for treatment.
Thus, up to now, Ha Tinh General Hospital has transferred 8 patients to Hanoi for treatment due to serious injuries. Of these, 7 patients were transferred to Viet Duc Hospital, 1 patient was transferred to Bach Mai Hospital.
Currently, 14 patients are being treated at the departments of General Surgery, Trauma, Digestive Surgery, Ear, Nose and Throat, and Dentistry of Ha Tinh Provincial General Hospital in a stable condition.
Ha Tinh Provincial Police also said that they have postponed immigration procedures for 48 employees and technicians of Samsung C&T Company, and are taking statements from workers involved in operating the hydraulic scaffolding lifting system to serve the investigation.
