53 more cases of Covid-19 infection in the community
At an online meeting of the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control with the two provinces of Hai Duong and Quang Ninh, the Ministry of Health said that today, 53 more cases of Covid-19 infection were recorded in Hai Duong (47 cases), Quang Ninh (3 cases), Hanoi (2 cases) and Bac Ninh (1 case).
Thus, from January 25 to now, the Ministry of Health has recorded 149 cases in 5 provinces and cities including Hai Duong (130 cases), Quang Ninh (15 cases), Hanoi (2 cases), Hai Phong (1 case).
Specifically, as of 12:00 on January 29, Hai Duong had 130 cases, of which 126 cases were related to POYUN Company Limited and 4 cases at Chi Linh Medical Center.
By the morning of January 29, Hai Duong had collected a total of 4,890 test samples at POYUN Company Limited (1,936 samples); other companies in the industrial park (1,598 samples), Kim Dien Village (964 samples); Chi Linh Medical Center (392 samples).

In Quang Ninh, as of the morning of January 29, a total of 15 cases have been recorded, all related to patient 1552. No cases related to 8 cases residing in Dong Trieu working at POYUL Company in Hai Duong province have been recorded.positive, up to now 149 close contacts have all tested negative.

Cases related to the Chi Linh outbreak have been identified as 99, including F1: 43, F2: 56.
In Hai Phong, a mother and child traveled from Hai Duong to Hai Phong and were quarantined for 3 days. The child showed signs of coughing and was taken to the Children's Hospital for treatment. Both mother and child were tested 3 times, with the child testing positive and the mother negative.
In Hanoi, on the morning of January 29, 2 new cases were recorded. The first case is a female patient, 54 years old, address: Time City, Vinh Tuy, Hai Ba Trung. Had contact with patient BN1553. The second case is a male patient, 20 years old, from Chi Linh, studying Foreign Languages in Hanoi, residing at Nguyen Khanh Toan, Quan Hoa ward, Cau Giay district, Hanoi.
All 93 close contacts of these two cases have been tested and are awaiting results. In addition, Hanoi recorded another case, patient number 1569, who was announced positive by the Quang Ninh CDC, residing in Hang Gai ward, Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi. Currently, all close contacts of this person have tested negative.
In Bac Ninh, on the morning of January 29, 1 case was recorded as the daughter of patient 1565. Currently, 33 F1 and 52 F2 have been identified, samples taken and awaiting test results.
The cases in Hai Duong are mainly concentrated at POYUN Company Limited, no new cases have been recorded in the Chi Linh community.
Cases in other provinces (Hanoi, Bac Ninh, Hai Phong) are all related to the outbreak in Hai Duong.
The cases in Quang Ninh are only related to the Van Don outbreak.
