This is the 19th soldier to die after this plane crash.

Speaking to reporters, Lieutenant General Nguyen Tien Binh - Director of the Military Medical Academy said that the health of the two remaining soldiers in the plane crash, Dinh Van Duong and Nguyen Hoang Anh, is also in very critical condition.

Hundreds of medical staff from 7 hospitals have been mobilized to provide emergency care and treatment for the soldiers in the past 12 days (since July 7), but "the prognosis for the health of comrades Hoang Anh and Duong in the coming days is very cautious. We are trying our best, but we must determine that saving their lives is a miracle," said Mr. Binh.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Binh (the eldest brother of Lieutenant Tuan), Lieutenant Tuan is from Luc Nam, Bac Giang, his wife is a librarian at the elementary school in his hometown, and his two children are still very young.

Lieutenant Tuan was one of the soldiers who did not need DNA identification after the plane explosion, even though his face and body were severely burned and difficult to identify. Mr. Binh recognized his brother by his big toe, which looked very similar to his brother's, and the scar near the collarbone on his right shoulder.

What Mr. Binh hoped for most during the days he took care of his younger brother in the hospital was for Lieutenant Tuan to be able to support his wife, children and family, but now that wish has not come true.

Previously, at 7:46 a.m. on July 7, a Mi171 helicopter with serial number 01 of the 916th Helicopter Regiment, 371st Air Division, Air Defense - Air Force, lost contact and crashed in Hoa Lac village, Binh Yen commune, Thach That district, Hanoi, about 3km from Hoa Lac airport.

There were a total of 21 officers and soldiers on the plane at that time, 18 soldiers were killed and 3 injured people were treated at Military Hospital 105, Son Tay - Hanoi.
