Another overseas Vietnamese star is preparing to play for a V-League team
Quevilly-Rouen Metropole Club of Vietnamese-American defender Jason Pendant Quang Vinh has definitely been relegated (France's third division) after losing 1-2 to Valenciennes.
This season, Jason Quang Vinh Pendant played 32 matches, including 28 starts, 4 substitute appearances and 2 assists.

Boxer Bac Thi Khiem won the 2024 Asian Gold Medal
On May 18, martial artist Bac Thi Khiem excellently brought home the Gold Medal in the women's 67kg fighting event at the 2024 Asian Taekwondo Championship.
In the final of the women's 67kg category, boxer Bac Thi Khiem defeated boxer Song Jie (China) with a score of 2-1 (2-0; 0-2; 8-0) to win the Gold Medal.
Notably, boxer Song Jie is the reigning champion of ASIAD 19 and is currently ranked 7th in the world. On the previous competition day, martial artists Truong Thi Kim Tuyen and Pham Ngoc Cham brought home two Bronze medals in the women's 49kg and 62kg categories, respectively.
In the end, the Vietnamese taekwondo team officially ended its journey at the 2024 Asian Taekwondo Championship with a total of 14 medals including: 1 Gold Medal, 1 Silver Medal and 9 Bronze Medals in the form category; 1 Gold Medal, 2 Bronze Medals in the sparring category.
Leverkusen make history with unbeaten championship
On the night of May 18, Leverkusen beat Augsburg 2-1 to complete the 2023/24 Bundesliga season with an unbeaten record.

SC Heerenveen has just announced the appointment of former player Robin Van Persie to lead the team from the new season. The contract between the two parties is for a period of 2 years and the former Dutch player will lead the team on May 21.
