More Spanish newspapers receive suspicious packages
On January 7, several Spanish media companies reported to the police as a precaution after receiving suspicious packages, including one at the Prisa group, owner of El Pais newspaper.
According to a police spokesman, 20 Minutos newspaper, the financial daily El Economista and the online newspaper Libertad Digital reported receiving suspicious packages on the afternoon of January 7.

Meanwhile, staff at Prisa Group have returned to work after their headquarters were evacuated after a suspicious package was delivered by a person. A Prisa spokesperson later confirmed that the package did not contain anything dangerous.
Spanish Interior Minister Jorge Fernandez Diaz will meet with anti-terrorism units as well as intelligence and police agencies on January 7 to discuss the deadly attack on the French weekly Charlie Hebdo's offices and will then hold a press conference.
On the same day, Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter reported that a bag containing explosives was discovered on the outskirts of Gothenburg - Sweden's second largest city.
According to the newspaper, an unidentified person called the police at 6am (local time, 12am Hanoi time), reporting that a bomb had been placed in the parking lot. After arriving at the scene, the police discovered explosives placed in a bag.
Nearby residents were evacuated and traffic was blocked after police decided to shoot at the bag. However, the bomb did not explode./.
