Pilot restaurant takes customers home after drinking alcohol
On the afternoon of February 8, the National Traffic Safety Committee and the Beer-Alcohol-Beverage Association signed a joint program "Propaganda and advocacy to prevent alcohol abuse among road motor vehicle drivers".

The Beer - Alcohol - Beverage Association presides over and coordinates with the office of the National Traffic Safety Committee and local traffic safety boards to build a model of safe traffic alcohol business points, initially piloting in Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City.
Mr. Nguyen Van Viet, Chairman of the Vietnam Beer - Alcohol - Beverage Association, added that the association also set out some criteria for safe alcohol business locations such as: having a place to keep vehicles overnight, having at least two employees with driving licenses to take vehicles home for customers and having employees take customers home by motorbike; restaurants must coordinate with taxi companies to take customers home to ensure safety...
