Nghe An delegation won second prize in the National Finals of the competition for excellent reporters and propagandists.

On the afternoon of March 18, in Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province, the Central Propaganda Department held the closing ceremony and awarded prizes for the National Final Competition for excellent reporters and propagandists.

Attending the closing ceremony of the contest were comrades: Nguyen Trong Nghia - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department; Nguyen Hai Ninh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee; Phan Xuan Thuy - Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee, Head of the Contest Organizing Committee; Major General Nguyen Van Duc - Director of the Propaganda Department, General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, Deputy Head of the Contest Organizing Committee.

The National Final Competition for Excellent Reporters and Propagandists took place over 2 days (from March 17-18, 2022) with the participation of 27 candidates from the Party Committee of the Army, the Central Party Committee of the Public Security and 21 provincial and municipal Party Committees.

The youngest candidate is comrade Le Hao, Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, born in 1994 (28 years old). There are 07 female candidates, accounting for 25.9%; 20 male candidates, accounting for 74.1%. There is 01 candidate with the title of Associate Professor; 03 candidates with a PhD degree. There are 19 reporters from the armed forces, accounting for 70.4%.

At the Final Round, many new, core, and important contents in the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress such as: "Aspiration to develop a prosperous and happy country", "Building a people's heart position", "Human security issues", "Responsibility to set an example"... continued to be chosen by many candidates as the content of the contest. Some candidates invested time and effort to completely re-create their contest content compared to the regional contest content.

According to the Organizing Committee's assessment, the contestants have prepared carefully for their competition. In the outline preparation round, most of the reporters prepared their outlines carefully, which is a valuable source of documents for practice. In the presentation round, many contestants demonstrated their professional expertise, convincing the judges and the audience. At the same time, the contestants closely followed the reality of the locality, unit, and work position in the round of answering the judges' questions.

Comrade Phan Xuan Thuy - Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the Contest emphasized: The Propaganda Departments of provincial, municipal, and central Party Committees must seriously implement the Regulations on the activities of Party Reporters and Propaganda Officers; regularly inspect oral propaganda work, promptly encourage and reward collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements, and at the same time remind and criticize units that do not complete their tasks; better, more effectively, and more practically implement Decision 238-QD/TW of the Central Secretariat on the Regulations on coordination between Propaganda Departments at all levels and state agencies at the same level in law enforcement, implementing socio-economic development plans, and solving outstanding issues of public concern.

The spirit spreading from the Competition of good reporters and propagandists in propagating the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and resolutions of Party congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term will contribute to propagating and bringing the Party's resolutions to cadres, party members and people of all walks of life, creating conditions for reporters and propagandists to exchange, learn experiences, skills and expertise in oral propaganda work.

The Central Propaganda Department will continue to periodically organize the National Competition for Excellent Reporters and Propagandaists after each Party Congress and continue to research and organize specialized competitions on important contents related to the Party's policies and guidelines.

As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded 01 Special Prize, 05 First Prizes, 09 Second Prizes and 12 Third Prizes to the contestants. Reporter Tran Thi Thanh Huyen from Nghe An Provincial Party Committee excellently won the Second Prize./.
