The Ministry of Education and Training has just issued a document guiding the organization of full-time university and college enrollment in 2015.

Accordingly, the 2015 admission season will have 5 admission rounds. The time to receive applications for the first admission round is from August 1 to August 25 and the time to review additional admission rounds is from August 25 to November 15. During each additional admission round, candidates are not allowed to withdraw their applications.

According to the official dispatch of the Ministry of Education and Training, only candidates who are not admitted to their first choice can continue to submit additional choices. There are 3 additional admission rounds for universities and colleges and 1 additional admission round for colleges. Specifically, additional admission round 1 is from August 25 to September 15; additional admission round 2 is from September 20 to October 5; additional admission round 3 is from October 10 to October 25; additional admission round 4 is from October 31 to November 15. When applying for additional choices, candidates can use all 3 result notices to register for admission. Candidates who have been admitted to the school are not allowed to participate in the next additional admission round.

Mr. Tran Van Nghia, Deputy Director of the Department of Examination and Education Quality Assessment, said: “In the process of considering additional wishes like that, students can completely use all 3 registration forms at the same time, up to 3 schools and each school has 4 wishes, so students can use all 12 wishes. With such a large number of wishes, the regulations clearly state that students are not allowed to withdraw their applications during the selection process. And they can only withdraw their applications after the selection process. If they fail, they can withdraw their applications to come back for the next round of selection.”./.
