Candidates will not be considered for graduation if they do not take enough combined exams.
The Ministry of Education and Training has stipulated that candidates who have registered to take both combined exams must take both exams; if a candidate skips one of the two exams, it will be considered as not having taken enough exams and will not be considered for recognition of high school graduation. Candidates need to pay close attention as the exam date is approaching.

The higher score will be selected for graduation consideration.
The national high school exam consists of 5 exams, including 3 independent exams: Math, Literature, Foreign Language and 2 combined exams: Natural Sciences (a combination of Physics, Chemistry, Biology (KHTN), Social Sciences (a combination of History, Geography, Civic Education for candidates studying the high school education program; a combination of History, Geography for candidates studying the high school continuing education program (KHXH).
To be considered for recognition of high school graduation, candidates studying the high school education program must take 4 exams, including 3 independent exams: Math, Literature, Foreign Language and 1 exam chosen by the candidate from 2 combined exams; candidates studying the high school continuing education program must take 3 exams, including 2 independent exams: Math, Literature and 1 exam chosen by the candidate from 2 combined exams.
Candidates can register to take both combined exams. The higher combined exam score will be chosen to calculate the high school graduation recognition score.
GDTX candidates can choose to take the Foreign Language exam. This exam score is used for university, college, and vocational school admission; it is not used to calculate the score for high school graduation recognition.
To be considered for admission to universities, colleges, and vocational schools, high school graduates must take independent exams, combined exams, or component subjects of a combined exam, in accordance with the combination of exams and subjects for admission to the major or group of majors according to the regulations of the university, college, or vocational school.
Therefore, many candidates have chosen to register for 2 combined exams with the hope of increasing their chances of passing the graduation exam because according to the regulations, when registering for 2 combined exams, the higher score will be selected for high school graduation.

At this point, candidates are concentrating on synthesizing knowledge to prepare for the upcoming exam. Therefore, the Ministry of Education and Training would like to remind candidates when entering the exam room to take the combined exam. Specifically:
WithCandidates take two consecutive component exams(including GDTX candidates taking the Social Science exam) must be present in the exam room at least 10 minutes before the exam is distributed to prepare.
Immediately after the end of the first component exam, the candidate must stop writing. The exam invigilator collects the exam paper and scratch paper from the candidate. The exam invigilator then distributes the exam paper for the next component exam and new scratch paper according to the exam schedule.
When the second component exam time is over, the exam invigilator will collect the exam papers and scratch paper from the candidates (except for Biology and Civic Education) and let the candidates leave under the guidance of the supervisor.
For candidates taking 2 non-consecutive component exams:Candidates must be present in the examination room at least 10 minutes before the exam is distributed to prepare. Immediately after the end of the first component exam, candidates must stop writing, hand in the exam and scratch paper to the invigilator.
Candidates must remain seated, maintain order, place the TLTN form face down on the table and keep the TLTN form safe while waiting for the next component test.
Candidates only take one component exam:Invigilators and candidates must be present in the examination room at least 10 minutes before the exam is distributed to prepare.
Immediately after the exam time ends, the invigilator collects the TLTN form, exam questions and scratch paper from the candidates (except for Biology and Civic Education) and lets the candidates leave under the guidance of the invigilator.
There are signs related to the exam is a violation
During the combined exam, the Ministry of Education and Training requires the hallway supervisors and exam supervisors to closely monitor and not allow candidates to take notes or leave any signs related to the exam, exam questions on any papers, documents, or items other than the exam paper and scratch paper (with the signature of the exam supervisor); and must promptly confiscate these papers, documents, and items if violations are detected.
During the waiting and examination procedure period between the two component subjects of the combined exam, candidates who have taken the previous component subject, if having special and reasonable needs, will be considered by the examination officer for permission to leave the examination room; candidates must submit the Multiple Choice Answer Sheet to the examination officer, be under the management and must comply with the instructions of the supervisor when outside the examination room.
The Ministry of Education and Training directs that exam invigilators and supervisors need to coordinate closely to allow candidates who need to leave the exam room one by one, absolutely not affecting the order of the exam room or exam school.
