Which police schools can female candidates apply to?
According to enrollment information from the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of National Defense: First of all, candidates can only register for one major at a school in the police or military sector and register in their first choice.
Thus, candidates are not allowed to apply to both police and military schools. Regarding the admission of police schools, colleges and intermediate schools only recruit candidates who are conscripts. Therefore, candidates who are high school students are not eligible for admission.
The Ministry of Public Security regulates the number of female candidates admitted. Last year, this figure was 10% of the total quota at each school according to each field of study.
Female candidates can apply to schools in the public security sector such as: People's Security Academy, People's Police Academy, People's Public Security Political Academy, People's Security University, People's Police University, Fire Prevention and Fighting University, People's Public Security Logistics Engineering University.
For military school registration, only 3 schools accept female candidates: Military Medical Academy, Military Technical Academy, Military Science Academy.
In addition, candidates should note that this year, the Department of Training, Ministry of Public Security, has adjusted some points in admission. Accordingly, schools will consider admission by combining the results of the national high school exam and academic records. Regulations on health, academic performance, and politics have also been revised.
