High School Exam: Candidates can adjust their exam subjects before May 27

The latest information just announced by the Ministry of Education and Training, candidates are allowed to adjust information in the registration form for the 2015 national high school exam, including adjusting the selected exam subjects, before May 27.

Thus, except for today, May 24, which is a Sunday, candidates will have two days, May 25 and 26, to complete the procedure to adjust information in the exam registration form.

The Ministry has also sent an official dispatch to all departments of education and training and universities hosting exam clusters allowing candidates to adjust the information in their exam registration forms.

To make adjustments, candidates must first fill in the Exam Registration Information Adjustment Form (candidates can see the sample here) and submit it to one of three places: the exam registration unit (application receiving point), the Department of Education and Training, or the university hosting the exam cluster.

The Department of Education and Training compiles the Candidates' Exam Registration Information Adjustment Form and sends it to the university hosting the exam cluster so that the school can report to the Ministry and update the changes into the database.

Schools hosting the exam clusters must report to the Ministry through the Department of Testing and Educational Quality Assessment, Ministry of Education and Training before May 28.

According to the previous regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, the time for candidates to submit their exam registration forms is one month, from April 1 to April 30. After submitting their registration forms, candidates are not allowed to change the subjects they have chosen.

Before May 7, the registration collection points must hand over the forms to the Departments of Education and Training. Before May 20, the departments must hand over the registration forms at inter-provincial examination clusters to the universities hosting the examination clusters.

Explaining this new decision, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Bui Van Ga said that allowing candidates to adjust information in their exam registration form, including exam subjects, is to create favorable conditions for them./.
