Summer fashion market starts to heat up

Most fashion stores in Hanoi have started selling a variety of summer clothes.

The Blue Exchange store on Chua Boc Street, Hanoi is bustling with customers. The new shipment, introduced by the store owner as “Vietnamese export goods”, has been sold out a lot in the past few days.

The shop owner said: Customers at Blue Exchange are mainly university students so the prices are quite affordable. The thin chiffon shirts are only priced from 190,000-250,000 VND.



The store sells a lot of summer clothes such as dresses, shorts, t-shirts and even jeans and plaid shirts, with a youthful and dynamic style.

Summer outfits for women stand out with bright colors, small floral lace material and soft two-layer thin chiffon to create coolness in the hot summer weather.

Besides, plaid shirts, polka dot shirts and skirts, and bold striped dresses are also popular with consumers.

Ms. Bui Kim Oanh, a customer who bought clothes at Blue Exchange, shared: “It’s just the beginning of summer, but the streets are selling a variety of summer clothes. I just bought a set of pajamas for only 90,000 VND, but I feel the material is quite good and suitable.”

On the streets with many fashion stores such as: Ton Duc Thang, Chua Boc, Pham Ngoc Thach, Hang Dao, Cau Giay... these days the shopping atmosphere has started to become lively thanks to the diversity of styles and colors of summer clothing lines.

Besides fashion stores on the street, consumers also go to Nghia Tan market (Cau Giay district), Nga Tu So market, Phung Khoang (Thanh Xuan district)... or stalls on the sidewalk in the evening to find the most suitable clothes for themselves.

Just spend around 100,000 VND to buy a dress with a popular style such as: Korea, Hong Kong... Products originating from China have decreased, instead, mainly domestically manufactured clothes, diverse in designs, styles, and cheap prices to meet the needs of users.

Ms. Tran Thi Ly, a clothing store owner on Cau Giay Street, said: "Summer short clothes are bought a lot, I sell 15 - 20 sets a day."

In addition to stores, many people also prefer to order clothes on online shopping websites. Websites always offer the latest fashion trends with diverse prices for buyers to choose from. Social networks are also bustling with the atmosphere of shopping for fashion products for the coming summer.
