On the morning of July 20, the People's Council of Cua Lo town, term V, 2016 - 2021, opened its 4th session. Attending the opening ceremony was comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

In the first 6 months of 2017, although the situation in the province as well as in the country faced many difficulties, the socio-economic development in Cua Lo town still achieved positive results.

Total production value is estimated at over VND 3,491 billion, up 12.8% over the same period last year and reaching 59.2% of the yearly plan, equal to 62.8% of the plan assigned by the province; in which service sectors are estimated at over VND 1,438 billion.

Budget revenue is estimated at over 175 billion VND. Culture and society have many improvements; Political security and social order and safety are ensured.
