Cua Lo town disciplined 19 party members

Of the 19 party members subject to disciplinary action, 1 was expelled, 2 were warned, and 16 were reprimanded. In addition, 3 party members were suspended from party activities for violating the law.

The main disciplinary violations were violations of population and family planning policies (11 cases); lack of internal solidarity (2 cases); violations of things party members are not allowed to do (3 cases); failure to complete assigned tasks (1 case); violations of ethics and cultural lifestyle (2 cases).

According to the leader of the Inspection Committee of Cua Lo City Party Committee, the implementation of party discipline on party members is timely, in accordance with prescribed principles and procedures. Party members subject to discipline are aware of their shortcomings, seriously self-criticize, and receive disciplinary action appropriate to their violations.

However, the detection and inspection of party members who are party committee members at the same level when there are signs of violations are still limited; some units have not proactively detected and inspected, and are still respectful, evasive, and afraid of conflict. The handling of petitions and letters in some grassroots units has not ensured the process, is still confusing, and takes a long time...
