Teenage girl rescued after 5 years of being sold to China

According to the victim, in 2012, when he was just 11 years old, one evening when his father and siblings had not returned from working in the fields, his mother was seriously ill at home with no one to take care of her. Feeling sorry for his mother, X. ran to the pharmacy at the village entrance to buy fever-reducing medicine.

At this time, a strange woman appeared and told her to get on a motorbike to take her home. Believing her words, X. got on a motorbike and was taken to a far away place, forced to take sleeping pills and beaten. When she woke up, X. found herself in a Chinese man's house. At this point, X. realized that she had been tricked and sold.

After that, X. was forced to marry a Chinese man. For the past 5 years, X. did not dare to use the local language much, afraid of forgetting her mother tongue. At first, her husband's family was afraid that X. would run away, so they kept a close watch on her. However, recently, seeing that her "daughter-in-law" was diligent and obedient, they loosened up a bit, even allowing X. to use social media.

Determining that this was the best opportunity to return to Vietnam, X. went to the friend search section, made friends with many people in Vietnam, and left a message asking for help. Among the friends he met online, there was one person in the South (identity hidden). When he heard X. say he was from Nghe An province, on February 17, this person called the provincial police hotline, reported the incident, and provided the victim's nickname for investigation.

Immediately after receiving the information, the leaders of Nghe An Provincial Police directed the Criminal Police Department to quickly verify and clarify the case. Using professional measures, Department PC45 determined the identity and residential address of the victim who went missing 5 years ago.

Immediately, a plan to rescue the victim from the other side of the border was implemented. A task force immediately set out, another team contacted X. via social media, instructing him on how to escape this “hell on earth”.

By the afternoon of February 27, with the help of the international organization "Blue Dragon Children", X. was successfully rescued and brought safely to the headquarters of the Nghe An Police Investigation Agency./.
