Major General Nguyen Dinh Minh: Promoting the role and qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers

(Baonghean) - Major General Nguyen Dinh Minh - Chairman of the Provincial Association of War Veterans; candidate for the Provincial People's Council for the 2016-2021 term in constituency No. 13, Quy Hop district.

I myself had one term as a member of the District People's Council and one term as a member of the Provincial People's Council; in both terms I always promoted my capacity and intelligence, upheld my spirit and responsibility towards voters and people.

If voters continue to trust me to be elected as a delegate of the 17th Provincial People's Council, term 2016 - 2021, I promise with all my feelings and responsibilities that I will be determined to fulfill my duties as a representative of the people, worthy of the expectations and trust of voters.

Firstly: With the functions, duties and powers of a provincial People's Council delegate, I will arrange my time reasonably and scientifically, and invest in studying resolutions at all levels. On that basis, I will contribute my opinions to laws, policies, solutions and policies in a practical manner that is close to real life. At the same time, I will actively participate in monitoring activities to ensure the effective implementation of policies and guidelines of the Party, State and locality.

Second: Regularly maintain contact with voters, actively participate in meeting voters to grasp their legitimate aspirations, especially their lingering and pressing issues to convey to the forums of People's Council meetings at all levels; participate in questioning, and at the same time make recommendations and proposals to relevant agencies to resolve voters' difficulties and pressing issues, ensuring the legitimate rights of the people.

Third: As a candidate for the Provincial People's Council nominated to run for election in Quy Hop district - a mountainous locality with many ethnic minorities, I will pay attention to proposing to competent authorities more practical policies and guidelines for ethnic minority areas and areas with many difficulties; along with that, proposing to have the State and the province pay attention to enterprises, farms, forestry farms, and enterprises so that forestry enterprises can operate more effectively. At the same time, I will participate in contributing to the tasks and solutions in building an increasingly solid national defense and people's security of the province as well as Quy Hop district, contributing to the development of Nghe An in general and Quy Hop district in particular.

Fourth: As a representative of the Veterans Association running for election this time, if elected, I will speak up to protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of veterans.

First of all, with more than 40 years of working in the army, I will always uphold the sense of responsibility, promote the traditional nature of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", regularly study and follow his moral example; as the Chairman of the Provincial Association of War Veterans, with my role, function and task, I will continue to work with the Association's leadership to take care of building the Provincial Association of War Veterans and all levels of associations to be politically, ideologically and organizationally strong to fulfill the tasks assigned by the Party, the State and the superior association; direct the associations at all levels to perform well the tasks of participating in economic development, strengthening national defense - security, local campaigns and movements, association tasks and movements; create all possible conditions to help members of the Association of War Veterans and War Veterans to rise up to eliminate hunger, reduce poverty, improve the material and spiritual life of members as well as carry out association movements well...

On the other hand, actively advise and coordinate to effectively implement policies for people with revolutionary contributions. Proactively coordinate with relevant agencies to resolve post-war policy backlog, take care of families of martyrs, families with meritorious services, people with revolutionary contributions, and military rear policies, contributing to ensuring social security.
